Welcome to you who come across my web site. This blogging is new to me. I am doing it because I would like to know who comes to my web site & why. I would also like to share some of my thinking about today’s issues & at least some of the time relate those thoughts to my 2 favorite authors, novelist James Joyce & poet Rainer Maria Rilke. Of course, I have other interests which I would also like to express occasionally which would not depend on Joyce or Rilke. For example, I am quite interested in MLB (Major League Baseball), especially my home team the San Diego Padres. I also thoroughly enjoy classic rock music (’60s to ’80s). I like your blog! When we were clearing out our house in Columbia, I ran across an article you wrote many years ago titled, Fear of the Year. Although, I was in a hurry to clean out the drawer the article was saved in I took the time to re-read it and once again determined it was a keeper. Blog on!
